LeadingAge Ohio All Member Q & A Webinar - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
Micheael, I believe it is for the panelists only… but I’m trying to confirm
Bob Burns, Administrator, St. Margaret Hall
Video is only available for our presenters, I'm sorry.
The slides are not legible.
Tim, are they blurry? Are you able to see Stephanie clearly?
Do we need to show proof that they are fully vaccinated or can we take their word?
So no masks for visits if fully vaccinated both resident and visitor?
If all residents are fully vaccinated, can they dine together in communal area and not have to wear source control?
Does that include employees who are vaccinated?
How is the "affected" unit defined? If you go with the definition of exposed only would be if 15 minutes without a mask, that should never happen.
Can one visitor visit a resident and then another resident in the same day?
Ann … when you ask about “that” — Does “that” include employees … what area are you asking about?
When you discuss communal activities can you please let us know how many residents can partake in the activity?
I was questioning the outbreak testing.
Got it … ok.
With staff in full PPE and not vaccinated, it is burdensome to residents to have to mask when they are 100% vaccinated. It is the staff at risk not residents at risk from staff
Can fully vaccinated residents sit at a table together with unvaccinated residents on the other ride of the room at single tables in the same room?
If all residents are vaccinated and are able to sit without a mask, does it matter if the staff working with them are unvaccinated? Do residents then have to wear a mask when with that staff member?
Since we have staff that is not vaccinated with a group of fully vaccinated residents in an activity or dining - all must still were masks and distance because of staff - correct?
Regarding PPE for visitors. CMS stated visitors needed to wear the same PPE as staff. If the facility is in outbreak status wearing N95s, are visitors required to wear the N95 as well?
What about a resident dividing up it's visitation time between a variety of visitors (still keeping 2 per visit)?
Can all vaccinated residents watch tv in the tvlounge unmasked while staff pass them by?
I also have the same question as Jean
Similar follow up question as the one above - if a dining services team member is unvaccinated, does that mean all residents must social distance and mask?
Hmmm.. email@example.com or send to me firstname.lastname@example.org
Is this the case for Residential Living and Nursing?
If we have a contracted beautician/stylist come in who has been vaccinated, serving a vaccinated resident, would masks be required for either or both?
To be clear, for all levels of care - all must mask and social distance if staff is unvaccinated - dining, actives, etc.
If all residents and staff members are vaccinated, are staff members still required to wear masks while in the health care center?
One more thing. As of June 2, in public we no longer need to wear a mask. If we take our residents out to Walmart, regardless of vaccination status can they be mask free??
Do AL residents need to follow same guidelines if sharing staff and the building with the nursing home. Our AL is not licensed by Ohio or CMS.
Do we have to report vaccination status on volunteers who work daily?
Does the staff performing personal care still need to wear eye protection along with masking for all personal care or is it in the isolation room only?
The PPT will be loaded to our website this afternoon.
